What is the Social Sciences Division? We are an academic division including the following disciplines:
Anthropology, Child Development, Economics, Ethnic Studies, Geography, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Social Science.
Courses are designed to support the college mission by providing opportunities for learning that might develop a person’s global awareness and appreciation, communication, reasoning, critical thinking, personal responsibility, information competency, and knowledge application.Want to know what makes humans so different (or similar) to other mammals? Take an Anthropology course!
