Computer Assisted Instruction In the Glendale College Learning Center Enter Through AD 226.
The Computer Assisted Instruction Lab of the Learning
Center is a free, compact Windows-based computer lab featuring software which helps
students practice their skills in reading, writing, mathematics and basic science.
Complete comprehensive self-paced courses are available. Students may work on particular
skills or follow a unique curriculum based on self-administered diagnostic tests. Although
instructors often assign work in the lab to reenforce skills taught in classes, any
student who is taking any class may drop-in and use the lab. The CAI Lab is open any time
that the Learning Center is open. Access to the Internet is also available through the CAI
Lab, but there are no facilities for printing of web pages or word processed documents.
Students may write and print their papers in the English, San
Gabriel or San Rafael Labs. Students must abide by the College Acceptable Use Policy for
campus computers. Please read our tips and rules for using
the CAI Lab.
