The college does NOT give advance confirmation of enrollment. You should consider yourself registered in a class unless otherwise notified. If you would like a receipt mailed to you, please provide us with a self-addressed, stamped mailing envelope along with your registration. Please feel free to call us at (818) 240-1000, Ext. 5015 or 5016 to verify your registration.
Glendale Community College may cancel any class for which there is insufficient enrollment. Because the program receives no tax support, each class is contingent upon meeting minimum enrollment. You are eligible for a full refund or credit for any class the school cancels. We will notify you in advance of cancellations and process your refund. If you request a refund for a class that you cannot attend, you must notify us in writing 5 days before the class begins. We will be happy to grant you a refund, less a $10 service fee for each class. Trips & Tours are charged a 20% service fee, or in some cases where tickets are involved there may be no refund allowed.
If the college cancels a class for any reason, those pre-registered will be notified by telephone, provided they have given us a daytime number, and payment will be refunded. We also reserve the right to substitute instructors or reschedule classrooms and class times if such a change is necessary.
Glendale College has permit parking only on the main campus. If you are registered for a class being held on the main campus, you will either be directed to a FREE parking area, or you will receive a special parking permit from your instructor the first day of class. Permit parking is in effect except for Sundays and school holidays. Parking is FREE at Hoover High School and at the Adult Community Training Center. Street parking is available at Pacific Studio for Dance.
Sign Up Early!
Early sign up assures a place in "high-demand" classes. Sign up is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please make every effort to register prior to the start date of the class. Your registration may make the difference as to whether a class "goes" or is cancelled due to low enrollment.
How to Get Your Employer to Pay for a Class
