JANUARY 29TH, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - (GLENDALE, CA)

The Glendale College Art Gallery is pleased to present Another February Skies, which features the work of four Los Angeles-based artists: Anoka Faruqee, Mike McMillin, John Pearson, and Rebecca Ripple. These artists each work very differently, yet come together in this show demonstrating a shared interest in what might best be described as the physiology of landscape. The show will feature large-format prints by John Pearson, a single monumental-scale sculpture by Rebecca Ripple, two works (painting) by Anoka Faruqee, and two sculptures by Mike McMillin. Another February Skies is on view from February 3rd - March 10th, 2007, and a reception for the artists will be held on Saturday, February 3rd, 2007 from 4-7pm. Admittance to the gallery is free and all are welcome to the opening reception.
